1910 Rod an der Weil Food-Store Shopping Receipts
The uncommon food store receipt collection dates into the year 1910, when the family of Rosemarie Zangers Grandfather Carl Wilhelm Weil has been living at Emmershäuser Hütte in the Weil Valley established there since 10 years. Then the son Carl Weil junior was regularily sent for a 3 kilometers walk through the woods until the neighbour village Rod an der Weil, where he had to shop the weekly meat provision of his household at Karl Klein food store. The reason, why the whole receipt collection of exclusively the year 1910 was conserved over 1 century and stored inside a "Stambul" cigarrillo chest is unknown.
